Lisa Lambert
Lisa Lambert is Chief Technology & Innovation Officer of National Grid, an international electricity company based in the UK and the US. She is also the Founder & President of National Grid Partners, a division of National Grid. Ms. Lambert is responsible for leading innovation, incubation, corporate venture capital, business development, and culture acceleration for the company.
Prior to National Grid Partners, Ms. Lambert was a Managing Partner at The Westly Group, a clean technology private venture capital firm based in Menlo Park, where she was Managing Partner and led investments in the internet of things, resource efficiency, and software technology companies. She also worked at Intel Corporation and was VP and Managing Director of Intel Capital’s Software and Services Group, where she led global investments in over 100 companies and managed a large organization of senior investment professionals. Ms. Lambert produced top decile returns, including seven IPOs and over 35 M&A exits. She began her career at Owens-Corning as a software engineer.
Ms. Lambert is on the board of many companies including Laredo Petroleum, Inc., UL Solutions, and Pathr.ai. In 2013 she founded UPWARD, a global network for executive women with over 6,000 members, 3 international chapters, and 13 chapters in the US. Ms. Lambert received a BS in Management Information Systems from Penn State University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
